Some things I am thankful for!

I’m a little behind. Everyone has been posting things they are thankful for every day this month. Thanksgiving is tomorrow so here are some things I am thankful for this year!

Please note these are in no particular order.

1. Jordan. I am so lucky to have someone who puts up with my insanity.

2. Schrodinger: He is my baby

3. My family. The more I interact with other people and their families the more thankful I am for mine! I have my amazing parents, a sister who is my best friend, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws (including Jordan’s parents, sisters, brothers in-law, and new baby nephew.)

4. My job at FACA. I am lucky to have my dream job! Great students, wonderful co-workers, and the arts!!!

5. The townhouse. As quirky as it is, I am thankful to have an affordable, safe, and fun place to live.

6. My friends. I am thankful I have people to share my adventures and misadventures with.

7. Daisy Bug: I am thankful I can afford such a nice reliable car.

8. My education. From Sacred Heart to Highland to Kent State to soon to be grad school at Akron U, I am thankful for having these great educational opportunities.

9. Camp Quality. I am thankful that I have the time to help others at Camp Quality. I am also thankful for the friendships I’ve formed there and the wacky things we do there (Dude, where’s my golf cart?)

10. That I live in the future. Iphone, laptop, Netflix, etc…so thankful to live in the future where I have all these things to make my life easier…and more distracting.

11. My health. Good health isn’t something everyone has.

12. That I have always been employed. Some of these jobs weren’t the greatest but I have always had work! I am thankful for Highlander Golf, AFSC, OHDELA, and (again) FACA!

13. The Muppets. How boring would my life be without them?

14. Science Fiction TV/Movies. Where would I be without Star Wars, Dr. Who, Star Trek, Firefly, etc…?

15. Oldies Music. I’m thankful for my parents introducing me to good music at a young age so I don’t listen to any of this country or rap crap!

16.  My positive self image: Apparently there are people out there who 1. don’t think I am as awesome as I know I am and/or 2. don’t think they are as awesome as I know I am.

17. My ability to make things up as I go. Some people make these things called “plans.”

18. Getting over most of my irrational fears. Still don’t like snakes, drift wood, and surprises gotten better about dinosaurs, heights, and I went to Mr. Fun’s alone recently.

19. Getting involved in foam fighting. It’s how I met Jordan and some great friends so as much as I rip on it now, I am glad I had it when I needed it.

20. Learning how to cut negative people out of my life. This was a hard lesson to learn but I think it has really helped me this past year.

21. Getting trapped on the elevator that fateful day in Leebrick Hall because it was the key moment that led to the creation of RoFLPuff…A.K.A the best college years ever!

22. Italian food. Enough said.

23. Princess Leia. My childhood idol.

24. Coca Cola: I’m addiction.

25. Chocolate. My other addiction.

26. America. Living in a free country.

27. Being a geek. Boy do I love it!

28. Reading. Yet another addiction.

29. My collections of trolls, frogs and other tacky things.

30. All the great people, places and things in my life I am sure I am forgetting right now but will come to me at 3 a.m.
