Hocking Hills Trip

For years people have been telling us how great the Hocking Hills region in Ohio is. It was everything everyone said and more! As much as I hate to admit it I may actually like Hocking Hills as much…if not more…than Lake Erie!

We weren’t 100% sure what to expect but every place we hiked was as beautiful as the next. The cabin we stayed in was secluded and beautiful but close enough that it was an easy drive to restaurants and stores!

Here we are at the cabin leaving for our first hike!

Our first stop was the beautiful Cedar Falls!

Our cabin was Lazy Lane’s Trail Ridge Cabin. It was beautiful and super close to the parks! Check out the views from deck! It was the perfect getaway!

I would highly recommend Hocking Hills to anyone looking for a great getaway. We took a long weekend and got to see almost everything! The parks are free and an easy hike for anyone. We ate at Pizza Crossing, The Grouse Nest, and The Olde Dutch Restaurant and like loved them all. Hocking Hills isn’t really built up and not very tourist-y which made it even better. It could have easily been built up like Niagara Falls is but it isn’t. It is just the amazing parks, places to stay, and a few shops and restaurants.

I want to go back already!
